Modern day as well as American Revolutionary War periods in this historical fiction. Finished it yesterday reading a little too late into the evening, but everyone wanted to keep going till the end.

The Iron Peacock by Mary Stetson Clarke Well, our book has a different picture on the cover, but we really enjoyed this book as a read-aloud to the family.
